A M Simpson & Son is a well-established business with over 120 years of experience in providing legal services and estate agency to the town of Moffat and the surrounding area. The firm started as a family business and has evolved over the years, offering a wide range of services including property sales, rentals, and legal advice. In 2016, the firm was acquired by Alistair Stevenson of McJerrow & Stevenson, Lockerbie, which has enabled the provision of a broader range of legal services.

Our team is led by Tom Pottinger, a Solicitor with over ten years of experience in all property matters, including estate agency, Wills, and Powers of Attorney, Agricultural Law, and Commercial property. We also have Rena Hastings and Karen Dickson, who provide additional support in estate agency and secretarial services, respectively. Our team is dedicated to providing efficient and client-focused legal services that cater to the needs of individual, family, and commercial clients.
