J.G. Sawyers and Sons has a rich history dating back to 1897, when it was first established by John George Sawyers. Since then, the business has been passed down through the generations, and today, two members of the Sawyers family are still actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. With over 125 years of local knowledge and experience, J.G. Sawyers and Sons has become a trusted name in the Whitley Bay area.

Our business was started in Grafton Street, Byker, and later moved to Market Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. In 1963, we opened our current premises at the Whitley Lodge branch, where we have been serving the local community for over 61 years. Throughout this time, we have sold nearly 9000 homes, making us one of the longest-established estate agents in Whitley Bay.
